The movie consists of two novellas."The Affair". Russian sailor Nikolai and former bullfighter Spaniard Jose-Maria are hired on a ship, doomed in advance: the owner of the ship intends to sink it during the voyage to get a large insurance."Scorpion and cotton candy." Friends are employed as sailors on the ship "Jupiter". The revolutionary committee assigns them to deliver an underground newspaper to Odesa. Scorpion himself, who can detect any contraband, takes part in the customs inspection at the Odesa port.

The story of young men and women on vacation. They are constantly separated by various circumstances, including the fantastic and phantasmagoric ones, but at the end, they finally marry. Oh, more, more! parodies Soviet popular culture, i.e. popular music (Italian song "Amore-more-more..."), sugary wedding photos and souvenirs, the maniacal hunt for foreign brands and clothes (such as jeans), primitive Soviet pornography, and the cult of material prosperity.

Francisca, a beautiful 50-year-old widow, prepared a peaceful future for herself. In an unexpected outburst, she grabs an opportunity for change and embarks on a sailboat called ‘Hovering Over the Water’.

They become friends because they realize that they have the same problems and are driven by the same dreams and hopes.
